SPONSOR A CHILD

When you sponsor a child, your monthly contribution will support the child's medication, food, shelter, clothing, supplies and staff support. Many of the children we serve are orphans who need your help. 

Namuyunga Shinita is 5 years old. She lives with her mother. Her mother digs holes for people to earn money so she can take care of the family. The family has one meal per day at 5pm.  Namuyunga

 does not go to school because her mother cannot afford the school fees.

 Owela Junior lives with his step mother who does not care for him well. He is in Primary 2. Owela spends much of his time in the garden helping out the step mother with farm work. He would like to be a teacher. Owela and his step mother live in a mud house.

Namusobya Charity is 9 years old. She lives with her mother, a single parent, who sells food at the local school. Namusobya is studies at a universal school where there are not enough teachers to educate all of the children properly. Students at the universal school study under the trees. Namusobya is not in school consistently due to a lack of school fees. If she is helped she can be able to attain a bright future. She wants to become a teacher. 

Isima Mukunse is the elder son of Mrs. Adam who is  a peasant in Bugiri, a village of Jinja. Isima is in Primary 7. Isima and his mother were abandoned by the father. Isima is not in school consistently  due to a lack of school fees. We believe that if he is supported, he will be in position of achieving his dream of being an engineer.

Nakisuye Brendha lost her father when she was 2 years old. Nakisuye is 9 years old. Her mother abandoned her because she could not take care of her. If she has support, we believe we can give her a bright future.

Akello Esther is 5 years old. Her father died when she was 3 years old. After the death of her father, her mother abandoned her. She is now living with the grandmother. Akello has gone through hard situations and cannot go to school at the moment. If we provide support to her, we believe we can help give her a bright future just like other children.

Mukose Dalifa is 7 years old. Mukose lives with her mother who is a widow. Her mother is no longer working due to a problem with her spinal cord. She can no longer dig holes to  make money to send Mukose to school. Mukose would like to be a teacher when he gets chance to go school.

Beaky Nankya is 7 years old. Her parents died when she was 1 year old. She was left under the care of her step mother. Her step mother does not take her to school. Beaky spends her days baby sitting at home and does house work, but does not study. Beaky enjoys school and she believes when she is given chance to have education, she would love to be a teacher.

Bwire Delike is 6 years old. Her parents died when he was 2 years old. He is living with his grandmother who cannot work, only grow small amounts of food for them to eat. Bwire is meant to have started school but his grandmother does not have money to pay his school fees. Bwire would love to be an engineer when he is given chance to go to school.

Bwire Johnson is 9 years old. Both her parents died due to HIV/AIDS when he was 5 years old. By the time they died he was in Primary 4. He is still in Primary 4 because he has nobody to pay for his school fees to continue with his studies. Currently, Bwire  digs in the watermelon gardens for work. He wants to be a doctor when he gets chance of going to school.

Nakiwendo Ahensa is 9 years old. She lost her parents. She is now living with the grandmother. Her grandmother has many grand daughters under her care. We found out that the grandmother only houses the grand daughters to use them as labour in the garden.  Nakiwendo does not go to school. She digs in the water melon gardens for money. She would love to be lawyer when she gets chance of attaining education.

Nakiwendo Zebiya is 5 years old. She is an orphan living with the grandmother. She lost her parents due to HIV/Aids and she is now staying with the grandmother who does not work .Nakiwendo does not go to school, she only helps her grandmother with digging in the farm to get something to eat at home. She wants to go to school when she gets an opportunity. She wants to be a lawyer when she attains her education

Nakilanda Shena is 4 years old. She is staying with her parents, but the father is a drunkard who does not care for his family. Whenever he comes  home, he beats the wife and the daughter. The mother works hard to try to feed Nakilanda . The mother has also failed to take Nakilanda to school because of the financial constrains. If we take care of her, we can give her a bright future.

Buluma Sulayiti is 4 years old. He is living with his grandmother who cannot work or dig, so when we found Buluma, he was coming from the watermelon gardens where they go work and get something to eat at home. He is not going to school. We can help him attain his future.

Musizi Edwin is 7 years old. He is living with his mother. His mother digs for people to earn a living so that she can send Musizi to school just like other kids; however, she does not make enough money to cover his school fees. Musizi does not go to school and he is always at home. He wishes to go to school when he gets the opportunity. If we take care of him, we can give him a bright future.

Mulungo Salimu is 7 years old. He is living with the grandmother who cannot take care of him. Mulungo loves to go to school but he has not gotten chance of being there because his grandmother cannot give him fees to go to school like the other children. Mulungo wants to be a doctor when he gets chance of schooling. If we take care of him, we can give him a bright future so that he can realize his dream of being a doctor.

Kavina Small is 10 years old. She lost her parents when she was 5 years old. When she lost her parents she was in school, but now she is not in school because her relatives have neglected her. They sold off  the belongings of her father and she is now leaving with her grandmother in the village, who cannot take care of her. she hopes one day she will go back to school and achieve her dream of being a teacher  so that she can pass on the information to the rest of the people.

Nakaziba Ziliya is 7 years old. She is living with her uncle who is a drunkard. Most of the time Nakaziba stays with her aunt who does not love her. When we found her, she had been starved a day without food and she had to do all the house work. Ziliya wants to become a lawyer and advocate for the rights of suffering children.

Bazibu Junior is 5 years old. He is staying with the mother. The father abandoned junior and the mother after she got pregnant with Bazibu and now the mother suffers. She is not educated and she can only go digging for people to earn something and also support her family, however she has failed to raise fees for her son to go to school.

Omoloo Antoniyo is 6 years old. He lost his  parents and he is living with his sister, who does not do a good job of caring for him. She often sends him to the  garden. Omoloo wants to go to school but due to the financial constrain in the home, he cannot go to school. Omoloo would love to be a teacher when he gets chance of studying and going to school. If we support him, we can manage to give him a bright future.

Kasule Phina is 6 years old. Kasule is living with his grandmother. The grandmother digs in their small garden to get food to eat and also to sell, so that she can manage to take Kasule to school. However, she has only managed to take her to a universal school where there are too few teachers. She can only afford to send Kasule to school once a week.  We believe that if we can help her and take her to a good school then we can help her realize her future.

Batanbuze Joseph is 5 years old. He is living with his uncle who is polygamous and a drunkard who is not responsible. Joseph is always home babysitting his sisters and brothers. He wants to go to school but there is no money to push him to school when he gets chance of schooling, he wants to be a doctor and treat all the sick people in his community. We can help Joseph realize his dream by sending him to school.

Namuyunga Shinita is 5 years old and she is living with the mother. The mother digs for people to earn something and also take care of the family. They always have one meal at 5pm in the day, Namuyunga Shinita does not go to school because of school fees.

Nakazibwa Hailit is 10 years old. She lives with her grandmother who is a widow and cannot support all the members of the family due to her old age. Nakiwendo does all the housework at home and she does not get the chance to go school. She is still in Primary 4. She wants to become a doctor when she gets chance to go back to school again.

Timugibwa Nsula is 8 years old. She lives with her grandmother in a grass thatched house. She lost her parents when she was 2 years old. She is now living with her grandmother who cannot take care of her. She is standing in front of the house where they leave. If we take care of her, we can give her a bright future.

Kilanda Jabalu lives with his mother, who is a single parent. Kilanda’s father is a drunkard who is always beating Kilanda and his mother. Kilanda’s mother  digs for people to earn a living and provide food Kilanda . Kilanda only has one meal a day and it is always at 5pm. Kilanda does not go to school. He loves to go to school but there is no money to take him to school.

Kasule Regan lives with his mother, two sisters and father, who is a drunkard who spends all his money in drinking, getting other wives and fighting the mother. The mother tries to provide some support through selling pancakes to raise money because the father does not care. However, she has failed to address basic needs of Kasule as they have one meal per day. Kasule is always digging in other people’s gardens to get something to eat. He would like to be a teacher when he gets chance of studying.

Wambi George is living with the grandmother. He lost his parents when he was 4 years due to HIV/AIDS, George lives on the streets where he has been surviving until when we found him and took him back to his grandmother. We believe that taking him to school would help transform him to a better person. He would love to be an engineer when he gets a chance of going back to school.

Mutala Mukase is 5 years old. Mutala is living with the step mother who gives him neither food, nor fees to go to school. He is always at the neighborhood where he goes to find something to eat. He is in Primary 1. He would like to be a doctor when he gets chance to school.

Bwogerere Silvestre is 10 years and his living with his uncle after he lost his parents due to HIV/AIDS. Silvestre wants to go to school just like other children but there is no financial help from his uncle, who spends his time drinking alcohol . We believe that if we can help him attain education, we can be in position of creating appositive impact in his life.

Owino Stephen is  3 years old; he lost his mother in the process of giving birth to him. He is now living with his aunt, half sister and his sister's mother.
